Today I heard again the sounds of my capitol being seized
And I thought of you
And so many others whose lives are disrupted
Destroyed daily by war
Not of their own choosing.
 
I want to wish you peace
Above all
I want to wish you victory
 
Thank you for teaching me
I am not yet the person
I hope to become
Better than valuing my perspective
Being aware that the world is so much greater
Greater than worries that seem to crush us
There is so little I can do for you
Except be the better me.
