Carolina Heritage

Now serving at the heArt & Soul of the Yadkin Valley tasting room are select wines from Carolina Heritage.  This certified organic vineyard provides Vegan-friendly and gluten-free choices that have won multiple awards and can tempt any palate.

Those who enjoy a dry red might choose a taste of the Chambourcin-Cynthiana blend with its dark rich flavor.  A German style Traminette is currently available for those who prefer a dry white.

Native grapes kissed by lemons, limes and spices, the Native Sangria has been a fan favorite for those wanting something semi-sweet.  Shades of Elderberry is also a semi-sweet though white instead of red, making use of the bounty of the Carolina Heritage estate where fruits grown on the property are often blended with the grapes.

While most of Carolina Heritage’s wines evoke memories it is the Apple Pie, combining North Carolina apples, raisins, almonds and spices, that makes this sweet spiced wine an excellent substitute for the real thing when you don’t want to warm the kitchen.

The tasting room at the heArt & Soul gallery has a limited supply available for those who stop by to investigate all the art available.  Discover why the culinary arts including the fascinating and flavorful kudzu jelly are a highlight of the heArt & Soul experience.
